All campuses: Residual Current Device (RCD) testing - 26 November 2018 to 18 January 2019

From Monday 26 November 2018 through to Friday 18 January 2019, Office of Estate and Commercial external contractor SPA Trade Services will be accessing buildings on Western Sydney University campuses, to complete six-monthly RCD testing of electrical boards. The contractors will be identifiable by contractor ID passes issued to them by Campus Safety and Security.
This testing will involve temporary loss of power to the individual electrical circuits and therefore works are scheduled to be undertaken out of hours. SPA Trade Services will coordinate access to both general and restricted areas via Campus Safety and Security, Office of Estate and Commercial campus teams and the appropriate School or Unit contacts.
