Professional Staff Mentoring Program: Call for Mentors

From: Phillip Marler

Valid from: Monday 7 January 2019 to Sunday 13 January 2019

Talent and Leadership Development are seeking additional applications for Mentors for the 2019 Professional Staff Mentoring Program.

The program has continued to grow since its inception in 2014. As we have received significant interest from people wishing to participate as Mentees in 2019, additional Mentors are needed to ensure that all Mentees wishing to join the program can benefit from the in-depth knowledge and skills of our more experienced staff.

If you have considered being a Mentor, we would encourage you to apply for the 2019 program. Feedback from the program demonstrates that Mentors gain significant professional development benefits from participating. Mentoring is an effective process for supporting staff to navigate their career path, to understand and apply institutional policies and processes, and to increase confidence and competence in undertaking various role-specific activities and challenges.

While applications for Mentees have now closed, applications for Mentors have been extended until Monday 14 January.

Interested staff who are willing to share their experience, capabilities and knowledge can apply via
