Vote for the Young Achievers 2019 People’s Choice Award

Western Sydney University is a proud partner of the 2019 NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards.

The finalists have been selected for the Western Sydney University Academic Achievement Award and the Western Sydney University Science and Technology Award. The Awards aim to encourage, acknowledge and reward the achievements valuable contribution young individuals make in their local communities.

The finalists in the Western Sydney University Academic Achievement Award are:

• Dr Anosh Sivashanmugarajah, 28, of Greenacre
• HY William Chan, 29, of Camperdown
• Samantha Bobba, 27, of Wentworthville
• Victoria Pham, 22, of Sydney

The finalists in the Western Sydney University Science and Technology Award are:

• Aj Verma, 26, of North Ryde (WSU Alumni)
• Domenic Raneri, 29, of North Strathfield (WSU Alumni)
• Macinley Butson, 18, of Mangerton
• Lisa and Zoe Paisley, 23, of Arcadia

Presentations will be made and winners announced at the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 1 March.

Further to this, the People’s Choice Award has now launched, which all finalists have the opportunity of winning. The finalist who receives the most votes will become the 2019 People’s Choice Award winner, receiving $1,000 worth of concert and movie tickets from Nova 96.9.

The poll closes at midnight on Monday 28 February, with the winner announced at the Presentation Dinner on Friday 1 March.
