Register now: Writing to be Seen, Heard and Recognised Workshop - Tuesday 13 August

From: Natalie McLaughlin

Valid from: Monday 22 July 2019 to Friday 26 July 2019

Are you doing great things, but don’t know how to share this? Are you interested in different ways to gain professional recognition? Are you simply interested in meeting others, sharing practice and getting new ideas?

Tailored for teaching staff with an interest in various forms of practice recognition, this workshop will help you to:

* Identify the key areas of your practice – as communicated to a lay audience
* Consider many and varied forms of evidence that illustrate the impact of those practices on student learning
* Compare the structure and writing styles of various forms of recognition
* Plan the next step in expressing the nature and value of your practice

Come along and interview your colleagues, to help them uncover aspects of practice they may not have considered relevant. Visit an array of information stations to conduct your own comparison. Design and share interesting additional sources of evidence to complement institutional data. Finally, make that plan and decide who you want to work with. This whole process works very well when you work in a team or group. Come along and meet others who are like-minded, or so different that they will challenge you!
