Effective presentation skills are a key and necessary skill required for many roles across the University and also in many other sectors of our community. This practical workshop will provide participants with some easy techniques, tools and valuable tips for presenting to a group of people with confidence, effectiveness and clear outcomes in mind.

This workshop will enable participants to:
------------------------------------------------
* Explore what makes a good presentation and how to prepare effectively
* Sequence and deliver information to ensure a manageable and logical flow for the audience.
* Consider what your influence objectives are and identify options for achieving them
* Explore ways to manage your own anxiety and present with confidence and focus
* Identify key elements necessary to engage and hold audience interest
* Create and use visual aids effectively.

Refreshments are provided, including a light lunch.
