Mental Health First Aid Refresher: Tuesday 15 October

If your MHFA Accreditation is running out in 2019 you may be interested in attending the MHFA Refresher on Tuesday 15 October.
This program gives WSU Accredited MHFAiders, the opportunity to refresh the knowledge and skills learnt during the 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid Course and to extend their accreditation for a further three years.
This course will help you to:

• Gain an understanding of the latest research in the mental health field
• Learn the three key actions for helping someone feeling suicidal
• Work through complex mental health first aid interactions
• Practice mental health first aid skills
Cost: Please note there is a $125.00 registration fee to attend this accredited program and this is all inclusive of the latest Edition 4 Manuals.
Cancellation/ No show fee: The full fee of $125.00 will be charged for withdrawals within 15 days of the event or no shows.
To Register: Please register via MyCareer Online before Tuesday 1 October.
Please note this will not be offered again in 2019.
