Dog Cafe Events on campus in September

From: Victoria Kasunic

Valid from: Tuesday 17 September 2019 to Monday 30 September 2019

You are welcome to attend the WSU Dog Cafe events at Kingswood, Campbelltown, Parramatta South and Nirimba in September.

Take a break from work and study and enjoy the company of a pet therapy dog.

Sharing part of your day with a dog has been shown to provide physical, psychological, and emotional benefits. Researchers from the School of Health Science, Nicole Peel, Dr Nerida Klupp and Dr Caterina Tannous founded the Dog Café program due to their interests in student wellness and dog-human interaction.

#WSUDogCafé events run for 1.5 hours and are a fun way to de-stress on campus by spending time in the company of several therapy dogs. #WSUDogCafé is coordinated by the Western Sydney University Counselling Team and supported by Wellbeing services and Campus Life.
