Project Management has become a critical organisational skill.

In 2020, the Project Management Office (PMO) is offering a three-part training series that will provide you with underlying knowledge and best practices to successfully manage any type of project at Western.

The first series is approaching fast!

Introduction to Project Management

This course is the first in a three-part training series that will provide you with underlying knowledge and best practices to successfully manage any type of project. The introduction course teaches essential project principles for anyone involved in projects. The course aims to provide a structured approach to planning your project and setting it up for success.

Intermediate Project Management

Date: Monday 16 March
Project Managers and teams are more successful when they use best practice techniques and processes in their projects, no matter the scale or type of the project. This course is the second in a three-part training series that will provide you with underlying knowledge and best practices to manage a range of projects. It will build on your understanding of project management basics and will take a structured approach to managing and tracking your project to achieve your goals. The course will also focus on stakeholder engagement, communications and project team management.

Advanced Project Management

Date: Wednesday 13 May
This course is the final in a three-part training series that will provide you with project management methods and best practices to bring your project to the next level. It will help you apply your project management processes and tools throughout the project life cycle. The course will focus on viability and value of the project, rather than just seeing a project to its end.
