What do Australian children think are their most important rights? - Wednesday 1 April

From: Jenna Beck

Valid from: Friday 13 March 2020 to Wednesday 1 April 2020

The Whitlam Institute is hosting a Parramatta launch of, and community consultation on, the Children’s Rights Report 2019, 'In Their Own Righ't.

Come along and hear outgoing Children's Commissioner Megan Mitchell speak about the Children's Rights Report, the result of surveying 23,000 children and young people in 2019 on a range of important questions. It covers all the basic rights that children need to do well, like having a home and a family, getting a good education, being able to access quality health care, being safe from harm, and having a voice.

This is your opportunity to understand life in Australia through our young people's eyes.
