Updated University Compliance Directory - as at January 2022

The University’s Compliance Directory has been updated, with an as at date of January 2022.
It is now available:

1) as a truncated PDF available to download from the Compliance Program Unit’s page, at https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/complianceprogramunit/cpu/compliance_management_program/compliance_directory.

What’s significantly new since the last published update (June 2021):

* All laws have been annually attested by the operating units who have operational compliance accountability as to the material risk of non-compliance their assigned laws pose to the University overall (as at date 31 December 2021).
* Five laws are added :
- Crown Land Management Act 2021 (NSW)
- Crown Land Development Act 2021 (NSW)
- Children’s Guardian Act 2019 (NSW)
- Government Sector Finance Act 2018 (NSW)
- Crown Land Management Act 2016 (NSW)
* Three items are added to the Watchlist:
- WATCHLIST – Ransomware Payments Bill 2021(Cth) (will be added to the main Compliance Directory once commenced)
- WATCHLIST - Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth) (amending and commenced Bill has now been removed and replaced by this item)
- WATCHLIST - Copyright Amendment (Access Reform) Bill 2021 (Cth) (will be removed from Watchlist once commenced to amend the principal Act, Copyright Act 1968 (Cth)
