Brand new for 2018, Writing to Persuade is a companion course to Writing with Clarity.

The workshop will cover:

* how to cut detail.
* how to decide what to put in and what to leave out.
* the two basic structures you can use to present a case.
* the five filters all bosses put over any proposal.
* how to present options concisely and in a balanced way.
* how to be more efficient in your writing.
This workshop will be of equal benefit to academic and professional staff.

At the end of the workshop you will:

* have choices about how to structure your work to best effect.
* be able to write more concisely.
* know what arguments carry the most weight in a university context.
* have had a lot of practice in presenting a case and selecting evidence to support it.
