From: Andrea Earl

Valid from: Thursday 27 September 2018 to Tuesday 2 October 2018

As part of the 2018 Mental Health and Wellbeing Month Activations, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Promotions Team has partnered with Lifeline Macarthur to deliver a FREE Mental Health First Aid training (MHFA) at our Liverpool campus.

Training is funded by Lifeline Macarthur and open to five staff members. The MHFA course is a two day (12 hours), face to face course created by Mental Health First Aid Australia to equip individuals with the skills to assist someone developing or experiencing a mental health concern. The Standard MHFA course covers: depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance misuse, trauma and more. The course curriculum is evidence-based includes a Standard MHFA manual and nationally recognised digital Certificate of Completion. For our community, the 12-hour course will teach staff and students how to provide mental health first aid to peers and colleagues.

Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the session (something to count towards your professional development!).

This FREE training session will be held on the following days in October. Please use links to register. Please remember we only have five places for this session
