FREE Mental Health First Aid Suicide Prevention (MHFASP) Lifeline training - 2 and 10 October

As part of the 2018 Mental Health and Wellbeing Month Activations, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Promotions Team has partnered with Lifeline Macarthur to deliver FREE Mental Health First Aid Suicide Prevention (MHFASP) training across Bankstown and Liverpool campuses.

Training is funded by Lifeline Macarthur and open to all staff. The four-hour MHFA_SP course created by Mental Health First Aid Australia equips individuals with skills on how to identify signs for suicide, confidentially support a person in crisis and develops skills and knowledge to safely have a conversation with a suicidal person. It provides to It is a stand-alone course that complements the 12-hour Standard MHFA course, Blended MHFA Courses and the 14-hour Youth MHFA course. The course content is based on expert consensus guidelines and includes an information handbook and a digital Certificate of Completion, something to count towards your professional development!
