Special dog looking for a special home: meet Ruby
From: Wendy Truelove
Valid from: Friday 9 November 2018 to Friday 16 November 2018
Ruby is a three-year-old mixed breed dog.
She is a calm and quiet dog. With people, Ruby is a little timid and will need a home committed to building up her confidence gradually, at her pace. She has gotten along with all the other dogs she has met - they range from an in-your-face youngster to a cranky old matriarch. She is a lovely honey colour, with speckled front socks and a stumpy tail.
All Ruby's vet work is done (desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm, flea and tick treated) and she will be rehomed with a two week trial to ensure she is the right match for her situation. She is located in Mulgoa.
You can read Ruby's story here: https://www.facebook.com/RedDotDogs In short, she was taken to a vet for euthanasia because she was no longer wanted. The vet stepped in and instead the owner surrendered her. The vet contacted me to see if I would take her on. When I first met her, she was trembling and wouldn't look at me but I had to give her a chance. She has come a long way but will need work building trust with new people.
