Online quiz: NAIDOC Week - open to staff and students
From: Trudy Healey
Valid from: Wednesday 3 July 2019 to Friday 26 July 2019
This year, NAIDOC Week will be held from 7 to 14 July.
It is a time for us to honour and learn about the rich culture and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The 2019 NAIDOC theme - Voice.Treaty.Truth. Lets work together for a shared future - aims to emphasise and celebrate the unique and essential role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages play in cultural identity; linking people to their land and water, and transmitting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, spirituality and rites, through story and song.
As part of NAIDOC Week celebrations at Western, all staff and students are invited to take part in the annual online NAIDOC Week Quiz, open from Sunday 7 July through to Friday 26 July.
