From: Robyn Grey

Valid from: Friday 22 May 2020 to Friday 5 June 2020

The Nanoscale Research Group invite you to join with them for an online talk by Dr Ann Kwan, 'Using a multi-pronged approach to developing antimicrobials'.

Details:
---------
Date: Friday 5 June
Time: 2pm
Location: Oline via Zoom - https://uws.zoom.us/j/97308304653

Abstract
-----------
Given the increasing incidence of drug-resistant infections, antimicrobials that employ new strategies are urgently needed. In this online presentation, Dr Kwan will showcase two examples of how her team have used NMR spectroscopy in combination with other biophysical techniques as well as molecular docking to ultimately develop lead molecules for broad- and narrow-spectrum antimicrobials.
