NAIDOC Week at Bankstown campus

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to NAIDOC Week celebrations on 7 July 2022.

The theme this year is Get up! Stand up! and Show up!

This year we will be hosting a local elder to deliver a traditional Welcome to Country, smoking, and didgeridoo performance. The Didgeridoo master will perform his unique experience with animals and stories through the didgeridoo and a Traditional Smoking Ceremony cleansing spirits, the land, and people for new
beginnings.

Date: Thursday 7 July
Time: 10:00am
Location: Outside Building 1 near Oliver Brown café, for inclement weather, the event will be held inside the foyer of Building 1.
Morning tea will also be served

Please can you forward this invitation to your staff colleagues who might be new to the Bankstown campus and if you have School Holidays duties with the kids, bring them along to this important week.
