Moving from The College to University: Student transition session

From: Juliette Subramaniam

Valid from: Monday 6 May 2024 to Friday 31 May 2024

Ever wondered what unfolds for students at The College as they approach the end of their Diploma journey?

Academic Pathway Programs (APP) at The College, in collaboration with University Academic Program Advisors (APA), offer Transition Sessions for these students.

These sessions, akin to second-year orientation, are led by an APA for College students in their final trimester. Here, students forge connections with their APA, cultivate a sense of belonging to the University community, and gain insights into majors, career paths, and specialisations.

These sessions are crucial in ensuring a smooth transition to Western, enhancing retention for both The College and the University.

Transition Sessions are scheduled over the next few weeks for College students moving into the second year of their Bachelor's degree in Spring 2024.
