From: Sherelle Tramantana

Valid from: Monday 6 May 2024 to Friday 10 May 2024

Ensuring your subject content is digitally accessible enhances readability for all students, and aligns with the inclusive principles of the New Accord Student Support Policy. Crafting inclusive course material improves your subject's overall quality and promotes a supportive learning environment for diverse student cohorts.

Join Digital Learning (Learning Futures) and Assistive Technology (ITDS) for a week filled with a series of workshops focused on demonstrating how you can ensure your content is digitally accessible to create a supportive learning environment.

The sessions will introduce you to why digital accessibility is important, how you can use Blackboard ALLY, guide you through creating accessible Word, PowerPoint and PDF documents and outline how students can access Assistive Technology at Western.
