This is a friendly reminder that nominations for the NAIDOC Week Awards will be closing this Sunday 12 May.
We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Indigenous people in our community at Western.
The NAIDOC Week Awards highlight excellence in various categories, including:
Indigenous Higher Degree Research Academic Excellence Award
Outstanding Indigenous Student Award
Trainee of the Year
Indigenous Academic Excellence Award
Indigenous Professional Staff Excellence Award
Indigenous Leadership Team Award
Contributions of Indigenous Excellence to Western Sydney University
Indigenous Person of the Year Award
We strongly encourage everyone to take this opportunity to nominate deserving recipients for each award category. Your nominations play a vital role in acknowledging the hard work, leadership, and contributions of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People here at Western.
