The June Microsoft updates will be available to install for all staff from 6pm, Saturday 22 June. Automatic installation occurs the next time your computer is turned on after 6pm, Friday 28 June.
Installing these updates before 28 June is a good idea as you then control the install time and make sure no meeting, teaching, or presentation is disrupted by an automatic installation.
ITDS Staff will receive these updates from 6pm, Tuesday 18 June, with automatic installation after 6pm, Saturday 22 June.
Teaching Spaces will have the updates applied on Saturday 22 June.
Updating your system will take around 20 minutes and your computer may need to be restarted.

June Windows and Office Update deployment.
Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office periodically require updates to reduce vulnerability to attack, and to implement bug fixes. The updates are recommended and regularly released by Microsoft to ensure proper operation and protection of workstations.
ITDS Consumer Operations collates, tests, and deploys approved updates to staff workstations across Western Sydney University. The updates are released on a monthly schedule for staff.

1) Consumer Operations are deploying important Windows updates for all supported Windows 10 operating systems and Office 365.
