Nominations Open! Western's NAIDOC Awards 2024

Western Sydney University is launching a new awards program to celebrate Indigenous excellence at Western.

The NAIDOC Awards will honour the outstanding contributions and excellence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples at Western Sydney University and winners will be announced at the inaugural Western Sydney University NAIDOC Week Gala Dinner, hosted by the Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous Leadership.

Awards:
• The Indigenous Higher Degree Research Academic Excellence Award
• Outstanding Indigenous Student Award
• Trainee of the Year
• Indigenous Academic Excellence Award
• Indigenous Professional Staff Excellence Award
• Indigenous Leadership Team Award
• Contributions of Indigenous Excellence to Western Sydney University
• Indigenous Person of the Year Award

Key Dates:
Nominations close: Sunday 12 May.
Winners announced: Friday 12 July.

It is strongly encouraged that you and members of the Western Sydney University community, nominate Indigenous individuals deserving of this acknowledgment.
